Wageso is designed to collect as little data as possible while still providing the app and improving reliability:
- Privacy-friendly website analytics via Plausible (no cookies, no personal data)
- Crash reports without personal information
- Encrypted sync data for cross-device functionality

Your financial data is protected before it is synced between devices:
- All financial data is encrypted on your device before transmission
- Financial content is encrypted before sync and is not handled as plaintext on the server side
- Your personal financial information is not available to read in plaintext on our servers

Data Sharing
Your financial data is never sold. Service providers used to operate the app and measure reliability receive only the limited technical data they need. Your financial content remains encrypted.

Cookies and Tracking
We use minimal tracking technologies. Website analytics runs through Plausible without cookies and cannot personally identify you. Inside the app, Aptabase collects anonymous usage data to help improve the product; this does not include your financial content. We only use essential cookies for app functionality when necessary.

- Delete your in-app data and any synced data when sync is enabled
- Full control over what data is synced across devices
